If all of this sounds confusing, you're right to be concerned; DiVX 7 isn't for users who aren't familiar with the ins and outs of HD video. Those who are, however, will find this group of tools to be quite helpful. The program has no built-in Help file, but the online support page provides a comprehensive set of FAQs, tutorials, and how-to guides.
DivX 7 is free to try, but the accompanying DiVX Converter and DiVX Pro Codec have a 15-day trial period. The program installs desktop icons without asking and leaves a desktop icon and folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.
