ManageEngine VQManager is a powerful, web-based, 24x7 real-time QoS monitoring software for VoIP networks.

VQManager can monitor any device or user-agent that supports SIP(RFC 3261) and RTP / RTCP (RFC 3550).

VQManager aids troubleshooting VoIP calls for failures and quality deterioration. Once identified, alarms are generated by the system to notify administrators. Subsequently, administrators can drill down on the alarms in order to isolate the root cause.

It enables IT administrators to monitor their VoIP network for:
· Voice Quality
· Call Traffic
· Bandwidth Utilization
· Active calls and Failed calls
· With comprehensive built-in and customized reports VQManager gives network administrators critical insights into bandwidth usage trends, traffic patterns, Call Details Reports etc.

Key Features:
Non-Intrusive Real-Time Monitoring
· Proactive, continuous monitoring of the QoS & Bandwidth of the VoIP network
· Real-time display of key information such as Jitter, Latency, Packet loss, Call count, Average call duration, Bandwidth utilization, Alarms, Top talkers etc.
· ITU standard E-Model based MOS calculation
· Drill down of information to minute level of precision
· Different options to import call information using CDR files through FTP access or uploaded via HTTP. Alternatively, the CDR can be sent as a Syslog message too
Alarms and Notifications
· Alarm generation on vital parameters viz., Too many consecutive incomplete calls, ALOC (High or low), Low ASR , High Average Answer delay time and High Voice Bandwidth utilization based on user-defined threshold and severity
· Configurable E-mail alerting
· SNMP trap generation and forwarding to integrate with higher level network management systems
Call Details View
· Overall QoS trend pertaining to call and participants
· Codec details
· Pictorial representation of the call flow plotting all the SIP requests that took place from call start to call end. Will come in handy for debugging error calls
· Call Trace of each and every SIP/RTCP packets transferred in a call
Problem Diagnosis
· Pictorial representation of call flow information to debug call setup issues
· Bandwidth usage graph with split up between voice and non-voice data to help analyze bandwidth congestions
End Point Details View
· Detailed view of call usage trend & QoS Metrics
· Call Metrics such as frequently dialed & received numbers, total active Call duration, Average call duration & ASR
· Call categorization such as incoming, outgoing, unanswered, error, good and poor quality calls
Capture and Display Filtering
· Filtering criteria to capture / monitor call traffic from specific IP Addresses /locations
· Flexible filtering of data based on IP address, SIP URL, phone number and name
Device Support
· Can be used to monitor any device or user-agent that supports SIP and RTP/RTCP
Web-based User Interface
· Provides a web-based user interface for remote access using javascript-enabled standard web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer(6.0 +), Mozilla FireFox (1.5+)

RELEASE NOTES FOR VQMANAGER 6.3 (Build 6300)
New Features

Monitor tab
    * Added a new trend graph 'Call Quality Trend' based on Good, Tolerable and Poor quality calls and time
    * Added a new pie chart 'Call By Status' depicting the Successful, Unanswered, Error and Unmonitored calls
    * Added a new view for Tolerable quality calls along with Good and Poor Quality calls, and provided links for drill down from various places

Calls tab
    * Added a new sub-tab 'Call Report' common to CDR and Sniffing data input options
    * Added a new trend view based on 'Average Call Duration(ACD)' and time
    * Added a new pie chart 'Quality Split' having Good, Tolerable and Poor quality calls
    * Added a new pie chart 'Unsuccessful Calls Split', for viewing top 10 call tear-down reason and status code
    * Added the all call view in the 'Calls Report' sub-tab for quicker reference

CDR data-input
    * Added support for FTP push data feeding option in Cisco Unified Communications Manager(CUCM) via server directory import
    * New data cleanup option added for local CDR files stored in VQManager server box during the 'Server Directory Import
    * New mechanism of importing server's local directory added
    * Added redesigned UI for CDR based call details page for easy data interpretation

Enhancements
    * QoS calculation for Initiator and Participant of a call is added
    * New enhancements added in CUCM 7.0 CMR processing
    * Introduced enhanced algorithm to move stale calls to Unmonitor call category

Licensing
    * For CDR the IP Phone based license alone is applicable. Being non-real time data, the Concurrent calls license based on active calls is not recommended for CDR data-input option.

Modified
    * Call category based column selection in multi-day calls summary view.
    * Modified the Participant name mentioned as 'null'
    * Removed Concurrent calls view from Quick links, it can be accessible at Reports page while choosing Sniffer option

Removed
    * Removed the data input option of parsing Syslog messages
    * At any instance either CDR or Sniffing data input option can be used
    * Removed the links for Unmonitored, Error and Unanswered calls from Call Volume graph in monitor page to avoid data redundancy
    * Removed few alarm profiles(Incomplete Calls, Call SetUp time, Voice Bandwidth Utilization, SIP Error Codes, Concurrent Calls) for CDR data-input option
    * Removed the 'Call Setup time' based pre-built alarm profile
    * Removed the Quick links for 'System Settings' in the Navigation page of Admin Tab

Bug Fixes
    * Issues while parsing CDR with quotes(") has been fixed
    * Fixed few bugs in removing the stale waiting calls
    * Resuming the CDR processing on server restart
    * The values modified in the 'Configuring QoS' metrics will get effected in dial graph threshold
    * Added some enhancement to continue processing of CDR, even if few files in the directory got deleted
