CA ARCserve Central Protection Manager provides both discovery and policy based backup configuration for CA ARCserve D2D , so protecting windows servers is a snap. Furthermore, CA ARCserve Central Protection Manager maintains a Microsoft SQL database for policy settings, as well as backup status and additional trend and performance metrics for each CA ARCserve D2D server. Additionally, protection status from CA ARCserve Backup servers can also be collected by CA ARCserve Protection Manager, providing even more visibility into recovery points.
