PeaZip arşivci bilgisayar kullanıcıları için alternatif ve ücretsiz bir sıkıştırma programı. Açık kaynaklı olarak geliştirilen bu arşiv yönetim programı kendisine benzer bir ücretsiz sıkıştırma ve arşivleme programı olan 7-Zip'in kendi özel formatı olan 7Z ve 7Z-sfx'e destek sağlarken ARC/WRC, BZ2/TBZ2, GZ/TGZ, PAQ/LPAQ, PEA, QUAD/BALZ, TAR, UPX, ZIP gibi formatlara da tam destek sağlıyor.

Arşivleme konusunda size birçok çözüm sağlayabilecek bu ücretsiz program kopyalama işlemi, arama fonksiyonu, dosya ayırma ve birleştirme, güvenli dosya silme, karşılaştırma, sistem testi vb. özellikleri ile dikkat çekiyor. Bunun yanında güvenli arşiv dosyaları oluşturmanız için şifreleme özelliği bulunan PeaZip otomatik olarak şifre ataması yapabilme özelliğine sahip ve güçlü şifreme (AES256) desteği bulunduruyor.
