This is a great introduction to abstract algebra. I really like this book and it goes through examples and proofs enough for you to understand even if you have to go back over them again. I have used this book in my undergraduate studies. I highly recommend it and Hungerford's approach is different from most modern algebra texts because he introduces ring theory before group theory. Even if this book is not your text and I am sure it would be good help as a supplementary one. It even has solutions, answers or hints to some of the odd numbered exercises. This book will really get you to understand modern algebra if you take the time.

Deterministic simulation of the particle transport in semiconductor devices is an interesting alternative to the common Monte Carlo approach. In this book, a state-of-the-art technique called the multigroup approach is presented and applied to a variety of transport problems in bulk semiconductors and semiconductor devices. High-field effects as well as hot-phonon phenomena in polar semiconductors are studied in detail. The mathematical properties of the presented numerical method are studied, and the method is applied to simulating the transport of a two-dimensional electron gas formed at a semiconductor heterostructure. Concerning semiconductor device simulation, several diodes and transistors fabricated of silicon and gallium arsenide are investigated. A re-release of Aliens versus Predator was released in 2010. Retitled as Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000, this version of the game has been updated to work on modern computers, as well as support for the Xbox 360 controllers.
