1. I've been using this (untouched) windows 7 32bit Ultimate for 10 months with absolutley zero problems. Included is checksum file to confirm (authenticity) MD5 hash with these numbers

I suggest doing a compatibility check with the upgrade advisor at this location

2. You can use the eicfg_removal_utility to change this ULtimate ISO to a "universal" disk that will give you a choice to install Ultimate, Pro, Home Premium, Home Basic, or Starter. Just click on the eicfg remover application and then select the windows 7 ISO.

3. This (untouched) windows 7 Ultimate file is an ISO image that you will need to burn to a USB or DVD-R with UltraISO as follows:

For USB
Double click on the windows 7 ISO then click the bootable tab then write disk image.

For DVD-R
1. Right-click the ISO image then click UltraISO then Burn to Disc
2. Select a minimum Write Speed (8x recommended)
3. Click on the Burn button

Then you can either install inside windows or clean install from boot.

4. You can upgrade to Vista, but if you have XP a clean install will be necessary. If you are upgrading from windows RC you can upgrade but you have to alter a system file a little. Here is the link to upgrade form RC.

5. When installing windows 7 just bypass entering any key then un-check the activate online box and install with updates and internet on.

6. Don't download this update (KB971033) but rather right click it and hide. All other updates are fine.

7. Then use IR4 3.1 provided
