Before the Supremes, the Ronettes, or any other "girl group," the Andrews Sisters were THE American female vocal group. From the late 1930s through the early 1950s, the Sisters racked up hit after hit with their cheerful, dazzling close harmonies and brisk, relentlessly upbeat delivery.
