In a massage career that spans four decades, Raymond Blaylock, has been instrumental in the development of massage therapy as a complementary and integrative part of health care. In 1988, while working as a part of a physical therapy rehab team, he developed the first comprehensive training program for Seated Massage. This training included stress relief, as well as clinical and rehabilitation applications. In 1989 he began a ten year program with the AVEDA Corporation developing spa and salon applications for Seated Massage.
