Bilgisayarınızda bulunan gizli verilerinizi şifreleyerek sizden başkalarının kullanmasını engelleyen yazılım diğer Ashampoo araçlarında olduğu gibi kolay kullanımlı bir arayüze sahiptir. Dosya ve klasörlerinizi oldukça hızlı biçimde şifreleyebilmekte ve bu şifreleri kolayca çözümleyebilmektedir.
Sahip olduğu dosya klasör görüntüleme gezgini ile şifrelemek istediğiniz verilere kolay erişim imkanı sunmaktadır. Ana menüsü üzerinde dosyalara, klasörlere ve alt dizinlere hızlıca erişip işlem yapabilme imkanı sunmakta olan yazılım yeni sürümünde şifreleme işlevinin yanına birçok önemli özellik eklemiştir.
Yazılımı kullanmaya başladığınızda sizden kullanmak istediğiniz şifreyi girmenizi isteyecektir. Şifrenizi oluştururken büyük, küçük harf ve rakam kombinasyonuyla oluşturmaya dikkat ederseniz verileriniz daha da güvende olacaktır. Bu şekilde oluşturulan şifrelerin tahmin edilmesi veya kırılması oldukça güçtür.
Dosya, klasör şifrelemesi yapmak için şifrelemek istediğiniz dosya ve klasörleri seçtikten sonra ana menü üzerindeki ikinci komut butonuna basmanız yeterli olacaktır. Bu komutla seçtiğiniz dosya ve klasörler şifrelenerek orjinallari silinecektir. Eğer kullanmakta olduğunuz şifreyi değiştirmek isterseniz yine ana menü üzerinden "Settings"(Ayarlar) > "Enter a new password"(Yeni bir parola gir) yolunu kullanabilirsiniz.
Yazılım şifreleme işleminin yanı sıra güvenli dosya silme işlemini de gerçekleştirmektedir. Sade arayüzü, kolay kullanılabilirliği, hızlı işlem yapması ile veri güvenliğinizi sağlamak için kullanabileceğiniz alternatif bir yazılımdır.
Dosya ve klasörlerinizi olduğu gibi şifreleyen yazılım yeni sürümünde dosya ve klasörleri kendiliğinden açılabilir biçimde, yani EXE halinde de şifreleyebilmektedir. Yazılımla sahip olduğunuz CD ve DVD medyalara da şifre koyabilirsiniz. Ayrıca şifrelemiş olduğunuz EXE dosyalarını CD ve DVD'lere aktabilirsiniz.
Şifreleme işlemi ile birlikte sıkıştırma desteği de sunan yazılım, bu sayede şifrelediğiniz verilerin sabit diskiniz de daha az yer kaplamasını sağlamaktadır. Özel verilerinizi e-posta ile bir başkasına gönderirken güvenliğini tam anlamıyla sağlamak isterseniz yazılımın verileri şifreyelip e-posta ile gönderebilme özelliğini de kullanabilirsiniz.
Safely encode private files
Security for your PC is no longer a ‘maybe’, it has now become an absolute must. Experts estimate that it takes as little as 20 minutes before an unprotected computer is infected with an ‘internet contact’, whether it’s a virus, a Trojan horse or spy software, which stealthily accesses sensitive information before forwarding it to a hacker. For this reason, protecting data that is saved on the individual computer is extremely important.
Ashampoo Magical Security 2 encodes files with sensitive contents so that instead of text and numbers they simply contain an incomprehensible mix of letters. The algorithm is so strong that it isn’t possible for anyone to crack the code in a justifiable time period, even if they are able to draw on a very powerful computer. The security methodology isn’t only effective against the many confirmed hackers in the internet, but also against the spy who might be lurking in your own office and secretly copying files during the lunch break. With Ashampoo Magical Security 2, converting an encoded file back to its readable format naturally poses no problems.
Encode files and burn them onto CD or DVD
Ashampoo Magical Security 2 integrates fully into the File Manager, which means it can be activated using the Explorer. Lone files or several files can be gathered in the program window, where they can be encoded and then saved on the hard disk or burned onto a CD or DVD. Once saved onto disk, the encoded files are safe and can be optimally transported. It is also possible to store the files in a self-extracting EXE archive which can then be forwarded to friends or work colleagues. The recipients simply have to activate the files. After entering the correct password, the archives then extract and decode themselves automatically.
Please note: Ashampoo Magical Security 2 is also able to delete files to ensure their complete, non-residue removal from the hard disk – as what’s the use of the most sophisticated encoding system if, by using the appropriate program, the deleted originals can simply be recovered?
New in Version 2: with compression and Email dispatch
In the new version, Ashampoo Magical Security 2 doesn’t only offer a completely newly designed display and innumerably improvements in terms of detail. Two further innovations lend the use of the tools even more value.
Compression: The encoded files can be automatically compressed meaning that they need less saving space. In this way, it’s possible to burn considerably more encoded files onto a CD ROM than was the case with the previous version..
Email dispatch: It is now possible to encode files in a single procedure and to send them as Email straight away. The Email function sends the files as PPENC attachments or as self-extracting EXE archives. The tool also packages the EXE files automatically into a ZIP archive so that they actually reach the recipient.
