A documentary drama about two British climbers who in the mid-80 climbed to the peak of Seoul Grande in Peru.


On the descent one of them broke his leg and his partner cut the rope, lest both died. Climber with a broken leg down himself without assistance. Journalists began to accuse his partner that he had betrayed his friend. At that friend in return wrote a book about all of their ascent. A documentarian Kevin Macdonald, who shot the film "One day in September," about the terrorist seizure of Israeli athletes at the Olimpiade'72, took off on this book, the film, which dot the "i". Void, which spoke climbers to McDonald, is the absence of God, and among the climbers a very large percentage of atheists, apparently. Mountain climbing - it's not done for the sake of newspaper articles and conquer peaks, climbing - it's a constant search for God, and not on the highest rock, and within themselves - there is something, mostly hidden and void. And, I ask, who are we to criticize a film about the climbers, and mountain climbing?
