My Inner Burning Eleven Scars 2011

Hailing from north-western Germany, or the Lower Saxony region for the more historically accurate amongst us, My Inner Burning were formed in mid-2008. Guitarist, Torsten Sauerbrey and drummer, Niklas Kahl recorded the first demo pleasantly titled ‘Fuck You All’, under the band name The Core. They quickly recruited a bassist and second guitarist/shouter, Daniel Pietrzak and Jorg Janssen, but found it much more difficult to find their ideal singer. After discovering flamboyant front-woman, Becky Gaber, and therefore completing the line-up, they toured with songs from the demo throughout Germany before deciding on a name change to My Inner Burning. Their self-titled debut was released in winter 2009 and now under their new label, SPV / Steamhammer Records, they are releasing follow-up ‘Eleven Scars’ at the end of March.
