A strong first showing from a writer worth watching, with a protagonist whod be good company in a return engagement.

A former newspaper journalist, Stephen Booth is the creator of young Derbyshire police detectives DC Ben Cooper and DS Diane Fry, who have appeared in 11 crime thrillers, all set in Englands beautiful and atmospheric Peak District. Since publication of the first novel, BLACK DOG, the Cooper & Fry series has won awards on both sides of the Atlantic.
