Here is "Todo Caetano" box set containing all Caetano Veloso live and studio albums up to 2002 plus a bonus disc with the previously unreleased show Caetano recorded with Banda Black Rio back in 1978, "Bicho Baile Show", a Japanese "Singles" collection and a DVD-A (that will come next). All albums are packed as Mini LPs, with gatefolds and all the bells and whistles of the original LPs, beeing it a cut-out or metalic ink its all there. Also its funny how these mini LPs wear out just like real LPs with scratches on the borders and corners.. I really had a nostalgic feeling scanning all the artwork. Every album comes with a booklet with full lyrics and technical details for both the original and this 2002 reissue, all scanned, cleaned and retouched for a total of 350 high quality 300dpi scans. Unfortunately the book with an interview was too large for my scanner. Nothing that a good byography can't fix.

I have been his fan for years and I am delighted to attend his latest show in New York and DC and to listen to the album over and over again. His music is universal, being at the same time the best translation of several forms os brazilian music. His style is innovative and uplifting, with lots of carisma and intensity. For someone who would like to be introduced to his music I strongly recommend this album.
