Baker Gurvitz Army was an English rock group. Their self-titled debut album featured a blend of hard rock laced with Baker's unmistakable drumming (ex-Cream). The lengthy "Mad Jack" was the album's outstanding track and the album hit the American charts.

Especially noteworthy are the crystal clear saxophone and trumpet of Paul Young and Scott Baylis, and the tight-on-the-pulse drumming of Rich Baker.
